All 32 achievements and how to unlock them
Milestone catches, one legendary, five loot containers, three death counters and seventeen per-species completions make up the 32 achievements.
Voodoo Fishin' ships with 32 achievements, and they split into four clean groups: catching a lot of fish, catching one very good fish, opening things, dying in creative ways, and collecting a full species. The species achievements are the long tail — there are seventeen of them, one per species — but everything else can be knocked out deliberately in a couple of evenings.

The ladder is long, and 10,000 fish is a genuine project — but it is also the achievement that keeps paying, because every one of those catches fills Dock Quotas, funds gear and feeds the journal. Legendary is the one to approach deliberately: it needs bait whose rarity ceiling reaches legendary, a rod with enough Strength and Rebound to win the fight, and ideally a crewmate with a Fish Club.

All five are found by fishing areas out or using bait nothing in that water wants, which is the same technique that produces junk. Loot containers hand out random tackle before they despawn, so this group pays for itself.
Deaths

These are the ones to farm passively rather than chase. Falling in the water happens naturally on any attempt at a new spot, skeeters are a constant and Charybdis encounters can be arranged once you know where it patrols — remember that feeding it moves it, which is useful for getting out of its way and for setting up a deliberate run at the achievement.
Species completion
Seventeen achievements, one per species, all following the pattern "catch all <species>": Toothicus, Slimia, Gulpicus, Mustacheii, Pinchus, Prehistoricus, Blinkus, Forgetus, Gulpius, Swampus, Perchus, Upstreamus, Calamarius, Floppius, Sneakus, and the two 1.0 additions, Lopsidedus and Squintii. Because each species contains several variants, these are rarity sweeps rather than single catches: you need the common variant and the ones that only show up with particular bait, depth and habitat combinations.
The efficient way to chase them is to use the journal as a checklist. Open the species page, note the depth and the bait tags it wants, and hunt that one family for a session rather than fishing everything. A guaranteed-population change means every species exists somewhere in the world at all times, so nothing in this list is gated behind lobby luck. Practical notes
- Progress is per-session-safe. Achievements come from your account rather than the lobby, so a death that wipes a cooler does not wipe a milestone you already crossed.
- Quota nights are achievement nights. Common fish in bulk push both the catch-count milestones and the shared meter at the same time.
- Bring a bonker. A crewmate with a Fish Club turns a legendary attempt from a coin flip into a routine landing, which is the cheapest way to cross off "What a Legend".
